Privacy policy
Last updated October 28, 2026
This policy explains what Vyseo (“we”) collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers this website, the Vyseo app, and the measurement tag our customers place on their own websites.
Information about our customers and their teams
- Account details: name, work email, the workspace you belong to and your role. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash.
- Business details you give us: your website, the questions your buyers ask, competitors, markets, lead and customer outcomes, and revenue amounts you record.
- Records of activity in the app, such as changes to tasks and settings, kept so a team can see who did what.
- Keys you connect for other services, such as an ad account. These are stored encrypted and used only to act for you.
Information from visitors to our customers' websites
When a customer installs the Vyseo tag, it records how a visit arrived (for example from an AI assistant, a campaign or a search engine) and whether a form was submitted successfully, a phone link was clicked or a booking was confirmed. Specifically:
- It never reads what visitors type into forms, and it does not collect visitors' names, email addresses or phone numbers.
- It stores a random visitor identifier and visit details in the browser's local storage on the customer's site, so a later conversion can be linked to the visit that led to it.
- We use the browser type only to filter out automated traffic. IP addresses are used briefly to limit abusive traffic and are not stored.
- Customers can require visitor consent before anything is sent; until consent is given, the tag sends nothing.
Our customers decide whether to use the tag on their sites and are responsible for telling their visitors about it.
AI answer monitoring
To show what AI assistants say about a business, we send the questions that business tracks to AI providers and keep their answers. Those questions describe what buyers ask; they contain no personal information about anyone.
How we use information
- To provide the service: measurements, scores, recommendations and campaigns our customers ask for.
- To keep it secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To contact customers about their account and the service.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use customer data to advertise to anyone.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run Vyseo for us, under agreements that limit their use of it to that work:
- Hosting and databases (Railway).
- AI providers that answer monitored questions (OpenAI, Google and Perplexity) or help draft content (Anthropic).
- Ad platforms, only when a customer connects their own ad account and approves a campaign.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Cookies
The Vyseo app uses cookies to keep you signed in and remember your chosen workspace and date range. This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep customer data while the account is open. When a customer closes their account or asks us to, we delete their data within 30 days, except where we must keep a record by law.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete information about you. If you visited one of our customers' websites, contact that business first; we will help them handle your request. Write to our contact page.
Security
We encrypt connections and stored secrets, hash passwords, limit access by role, and keep each customer's data separate. No system is perfectly secure; we will tell affected customers promptly if a breach affects their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell customers about significant changes before they take effect.
